Y’know what would be an actual christmas present from WG to the players? Goddamn server transfers. 1500-2000 gold or something to yoink your account progress across to another region. You should be able to move or go on holiday without losing all the money you spent and time you invested into the game, even if it came at the cost of a seperate service record on the new server, to maintain its internal competitive integrity.
Side note: QB, you should get your community to record their drops themselves, that way you could get a decent sample size to see whether the in game drop rate is what it should be.

Please do reviews of the two lower tier tanks. I hope with the addition of more double barrel tanks that we might see some of the larger caliber SPAA’s brought in like the M42 duster or ZSU-57-2.

The AMBT is not in “the” American Tech tree.
I think the loot boxes are pretty good. I’m not too thrilled that they put in vehicles that we’ve already had the chance to get. For example, the M3 Light, AMBT, and Vipera. I never cared for the AMBT and Vipera personally, because they don’t sound like they’d fit my playstyle. I’ve had the M3 Light for a long time, since 2014 I think. It was a good light tank, with decent mobility. Used to have a lot of fun with it back on the old Pearl River. Other than the not so new tanks, everything else looks good. Excited for them and the tank reviews! Will we see tank reviews of the new Tier 4 and 5s?
250 boxes to guarantee those 5 new vehicles. With previous lootbox events most of the tanks were things you could’ve gotten before and not from one-time events. I appreciate they’ve gone away from the decoration nonsense this year. I don’t appreciate adding in a ton of mobile game ‘farming’ and I don’t think the autocollect should cost 150k per collection, that’s 9.3 million credits if you forget about it.

The French Light Tank, it breaks up stalemates, its not really a spotter. It is going to be popular amongst initiative oriented players where using the natural lethargy of most players in battle can be broken up with sudden assassination hits on enemy flanks and turn enemy heads so as split enemy attention causing them to expose there flanks when trying to counter it. But that requires team mates willing to follow up such a maneuver and that alone takes initiative.

Another year with 3 unbalanced/pay2win/op tanks that is more or less necessary for mediocre players to have a chance to make good battles! all last box events, i brought at first 11 Boxes and get 2 Tier 8 Tanks!! then i brought 50 and get nothing!!

you can expect that Harry Hopkins tank to have pretty unique firepower. it has the Little John adapter, which was a squeeze-bore modification for the 2lber. It worked by deforming the projectile down to a smaller diameter while accelerating it to high speeds, so it will have super good penetration, but if WG care even one iota about historical realism, it will not have HE shells because the adapter precluded their use.
Does this mean that if you buy those 200 boxes of 4 diff types you also guaranteed get 50000 gold possibly even more or am i not getting it right?

Isn’t your maths off regarding how many boxes are required to get a specific or all of the tier 8 tanks?
16:10 shows that if you already have a tier 8 tank, you can still recieve it from a box, but it will be converted to gold.
This means even if you have all but one of the tanks and you’re aiming to get it, having all the other tanks doesn’t make you statistically more likely to recieve it than someone who doesn’t already have any of them.
New tanks sound broken as fuck, what we want is decent MM and better map rotation, that’s a Christmas present….not more decals and broken OP tanks
