I review the -0, a tier 9 Swedish TD in World of Tanks (WoT), with a replay of a tier 9 battle.

The is the gem of the Swedish tank destroyer line. combines terrific firepower, mobility, and highly-angled frontal armor.

Strengths and Weaknesses
+ Superb frontal protection against AP shells of 120mm caliber or less
+ Superb max gun depression (-11)
+ Superb silver penetration (308mm)
+ Superb accuracy in siege mode (0.30)
+ Superb silver shell velocity (1500 m/s)
+ Superb reverse speed (45 kph)
+ Excellent DPM
+ Excellent forward speed (50 kph)
+ Excellent camouflage
+ Only frontal weak spot against AP is small cupola
+ Very low chance of fire (10%)
– Transitioning between Siege and Travel modes leaves the TD temporarily unable to take action
– Unable to aim gun when tracked
– Very low HP (1500)
– Side hull armor is very thin (30mm) and easily overmatched
– Vulnerable to HE shells due to thin armor (40/30/30)
– Highly-sloped but thin frontal armor vulnerable to HEAT
– Low caliber (105mm) gun for a TD, limits overmatch
– Lack of a turret hampers fighting around buildings and rocks

Recommended Equipment
1. Rammer
2. Binocs
3. Vents (for brawling/DPM) or Camo Net (for camo sniping)

I favor Vents over Camo Net, as that supports a more aggressive and flexible style of play.

I talk through how I’m reading the battle as unfolds and discuss key decisions and mistakes. My hope is that these videos meaningfully help players improve their gameplay.

If you want to support my WoT habit (thanks that’s generous of you), you can send me gold in-game, or you can donate via PayPal or by shopping on Amazon:

  1. VK has 12,8cm gun.

  2. The Strv. 103-0 has 40mm of armor anywhere on the front. The VK 45.02 Ausf. B has a 128mm gun. The 15cm, which you said it had, is only on the E-100. Hate to be picky?love your videos keep it up

  3. I like the questions section.

  4. honestly, this tank is op, especially if u know where to place yourrself.

the issue is COMBATING one of these swdish fucks. make a video about that. their high rof and impenetrable armour in siege mode makes it impossible to do anything. espacially in the corridor meta

  5. Dejan Arandjelovic

  6. What do you think of the tier X LT buffs in 9.20.1?

  7. Ugh, swedish TDs, the #1 cause of battles drawing anymore. One of those tanks, I have very mixed feelings facing in game.

  8. I have to respectfully disagree on the leopard 3 cm, I recently 3 marked it with using only the 3 centimeter gun. The burst potential makes it much better than the 5 cm in standing around shooting somebody with a 5 centimeter for several seconds is not near as good as clipping somebody in less than one second and running away. Plus you nearly always set somebody on fire in one game, I have a replay from a recent game on but you can watch if you have the time to watch its potential. Thanks dreamf1ghter.

  9. I agree on the Leo’s 5cm gun. It got buffed a couple of patches ago and is now the better gun. Strangely the same gun on the Luchs did not get buffed and so the 3cm is still the better gun there.

  10. Hey taugrim can you make a video about keeping dmg up for marks of excellence?? It would help alot

  11. I just picked this tank up and it’s pretty tricky to play. Of course, it doesn’t help that I free xp’d past the udes so this is my first tank with the siege mechanic.

  12. Thanks taugrim

  13. Spatty_Cakes here again Taugrim, fun vid I just started working on the swedish line and fun to see how these tanks can be played at t9+ rather than the redline tank that I fight in pubs. Here is my question for you seeing as you obv have played this line. What is the best and worst part about the tank line? I am currently sat at T4. I have yet to enjoy the line at all does it get better and at what Tier?

  14. Funny how 122mm guns could overmatch it, since they could “coincidentally” go over the 3x caliber rule.
