Question: this TD, the AMX 50 Mle 1948: 2nd gun or top gun? Main problem with the top gun: aiming time (in combination with having to turn the hull a lot)…

Finished this grind last week. The 155 is so much better than the AIDS tanks before it. It can actually pen things with standard ammo and its alpha damage isn’t complete crap like the 8 and 9.

killing higher tier tanks in something that should’ve got its ass kicked is always satisfying.
Second gunner is okay, good even. All the gunnery skills, quite quickly. The one thing that fucks it all up is the 2nd gunner gets knocked out a lot, meaning the main gun is compromised. That sucks hard.

I recently free xp’d my way to the foch after grinding 70k xp on this thing because its so unplayably bad. I can tolerate the fact that almost everything about it is shit but I literally cannot tolerate the 8 second aim time you have to go through every time you simply turn your gun and god forbid you turn your hull. This is literally the only tank i have ever free xp’d through and I have every tank branch at least up to tier ix. This tank officially broke me.

with a turretless TD, the way to defend is almost always to increase the distance between you and the enemy, by reversing. the AC should have kept reversing until he was in a sidescrape position, hopefully hidden behind a bush, and then taken his shot.

I hate this tank most of the time, sometimes I love it, really hot and cold tank. I swear the gun accuracy is randomly changed just to eff with you.
you should try to 3 mark the T50
Ac48 post 9.20 should be pretty fearsome, the gun gets 3 round magazine with 27 intraclip and .2second faster aim. Dumping 1200 damage in 5.4 seconds is damn powerful, much faster than other tier8 autoloaders by far.
How can you expand the mini map?
