Using rat and gremlin tanks to sneak around the battlefield in War Thunder matches has always been a favorite pastime of mine. But what if you used the German Wiesel 1A4 light tank, one of the smallest vehicles in the game, to essentially play WT like a stealth game?

Having seen two separate cars doing less than 80kph end up on their roof after hitting the small pothole outside my house I feel I am qualified, by dint of minimal, anecdotal evidence supported by confirmation bias, to say that _absolutely_ should have happened. Also I say that kills against fellow vermin shouldn’t count against the Thief rules. Either that or they count as something from… later on.

As long as you dong shoot and you are not something absolutely massive, it is actually extremely easy to hide in literal plain sight.
I sometimes have get intelligence missions and i just sit on the less popular side of the map and spot people, usually even after my team got entirely ran over i can sit and be unnoticed.

I drive in Wiesels in the German military and this is literally how they are used.
Wiesel is ferret in english and we use em as such. Just crawlint arround like little rats.
We now have a new Weapon system called the MELLs, a Rocket system similar to the javelin. You can steer the rocket in flight via the Weapon system like a video game and it top attacks basically avoiding all Soft and Hard defenses of Tanks.
One issue: the Wiesel is in no way armored. As you might know from war thunder, even 762 can turn that thing into swiss cheese.
The Wiesel being a literal Goblin is what makes it so great.
It can reach places no one expects without Pioneers having to chop down trees and because its so small it usually looks like rocks or bushes especially since we camo them with 3D netting and branches.
On training OPs the Enemy Leopards where at some point so terrified since we kept shooting them without them even knowing were there that they started to shoot Boulders thinking its us.
The wiesel would never win a 1v1 against a tank. But being a Goblin and using your Goblin/rat mindset to find little rat spots to hide in is what makes it so effective.

Honestly speaking from minimal experience bushing this thing up is probably entirely fair it’s not like you’re gonna obscure a weakpoint and it could use the help in being harder to spot as a whole.
