The VK 30.02 (M) is kind of the original Panther tank. But the first one is the VK 30.02 (D) which later evolved into

  1. The problem they ran into is that their tanks are legit finnish when they are invading from Ukraine belarus and that stuff

  2. Dodn’t know that a company that makes trucks and buses used to make a beast of a tank ☠️

  3. @b33darkwraithyt

Is that a company of heroes pfp?

  4. Most of t34s in 1941 was destroyed by the panzer3. The t34 wasnt a problem for the germans from the start. What they did with the kv1 is disable the tracks and let the infantry deal with ith with satchel charges

  5. @CrazyGamer-ip2wd

First off, the panzer IV was not used for tank to tank tell much later in the war, the majority of tank to tank engagements during operation Barbarossa were the Panser III with the long 50mm, the Panzer IV was mostly used against fixed positions such as bunkers and it didn’t receive the upgrades for fighting tanks till after the first few engagements with the KV1 and 2

Also when germany attacked Russia the T34 and KV1 had been in service for a bit, the KV1’s prototype was used against a Finnish unit and the T34 was also built around the same time to make a better tank to assist the KV1

The panther was initially designed upon seeing the first IS1 in combat, which was an IS1 prototype built in like late 1942 early 1943, which was the made hitler rush the already brewing VK program

The Panther was not the response to the T34 or the KV1. It was a response to the IS1

    • I highly doubt that the panther was created in response to the IS-1 as only 207 were ever produced and it was a stop gap for the IS-2 which saw production of up to 4000 units produced. I’ve looked on a few sites that all say its a response to the T-34 mainly and the KV-1

      @w33d_nose55
The VK program officially started in 1938 but didn’t really get anywhere till 1939, it received extra funding and more priority after the first sightings of the IS1

The t34 was also a terrible tank, Panzer III’s would easily tear through them, the KV1 had no visibility so german tank crews quickly started flanking maneuvers on them and getting to the side of them.. a better tank to say was a response to the KV1 and 2 was the Panzer III Ausf. J and the Panzer IV. Ausf. G, the IV version being a little later

The panther was originally designed to fight the KV’s yes, but with the appearance of the IS1 germany rushed it faster to ensure they wouldn’t get out armored

    • @@CrazyGamer-ip2wd Look the T-34 in no was was an amazing tank but it wasnt completely terrible, crude yes, terrible for crews yes and theres a lot of problems but there were also many variants of the T-34 but thats not the point here. The Germans outflanked the KV-1 because it was slow and the tank barely saw any production and service and was to test for soviet heavy designs. I dont think Panzer III’s could ‘easily’ tear through them. Germany themselves were surprised at the tanks capabilities. Look we could go for hours over the T-34. Going back to the panther. The program was likely postponed when it was initially started as the the tanks germany possessed performed and functioned well in terms of other european Armies by 1940. The IS-1 had the same 85mm gun and turret from the T-34 although possessing a more armored Chasis, again my point is barely any were produced and is highly unlikely many saw combat again only 207 were made. Germany at the time too was also in a bit of a panic as the eastern front stagnated and they were starting to get pushed back and the 6th Army was gone and general Paulus. The Rushed design is true as the Panther D was pretty bad performance wise. It had a terrible drive train that wouldnt get it far and the engine had a high chance of combusting in flames. It struggled to make it to the battlefield. I still think they made it due to the later variants of the T-34 in 1943 (that being the 76 with a slightly improved hull) and the fact that the east was struggling. Yes the designs existed prior to the collapse of the east but I looked online rn about comparisons of the 34 and the panzer III and shorter barreled panzer IV’s. The T-34 did outclass and outgun the III and was theoretically more superior to the IV. Germany also didnt have an abundance of Panzer IV’s. Germany went into barbarossa with mainly Panzer III’s with 50mm guns and thinner armor and panzer II’s and panzer 38t’s and stug III’s. The tanks such as the Panzer III struggled with 34’s due to its sloped armor and better main gun. The panzer II’s and 38t’s didnt fair any better as you can imagine. infact the Marder was made because of how obsolete the t38 became coming up against T-34’s

  6. Well more specifically in 1941 the panzer 4 wasn’t used for anti-tank purposes, but rather as an infantry support vehicle due to its short barrel. The panzer 3 was used for anti-tank purposes but was quickly outmatched by the tanks in the video.

The long barrelled panzer 4’s came somewhat later and we’re capable of dealing with t-34’s and kv1’s, but the German high command still desired a more powerful vehicle, which incidentally was already in development since 1938

  7. Inaccurate pngs bruh

  8. I cant fail to notice the finnish panzer 4s in the operation barbarossa from those symbols i can confirm its finnish ive seen one in real life (SUOMI PERKELE)

  9. @sebastianblaabjergbalslev1179

The Panther killed half og the t-34’s

  10. The Panther not Is the t34 Copy! Is older than t34

    • @yourlocalretard5893

First prototypes of the tank that would become the T-34 started in 1937. Before the panther was an idea

  11. Soviet onion XD why a 🧅

  12. @darkninjacorporation

Why it’s in the tech tree though is anyone’s guess lol

  13. HOI4 interface, war thunder themed, and COH2 portrait. Gamer moment.

  14. @WarThunderPlayer-1

    Ye more lighter

  15. Soviet onion

  16. the papers please theme in the background

  17. It was rejected due to it being in fact a germanized version of the t-34

    • Not really, they didnt bother about that, however they disliked the engine layout of Daimler Benz as well as, Daimler Benz didnt fully follow the requirements, such as the turret ring diameter, as such they decided for MANs.

  18. @pro_fastkillerduck4323

Bro got the finnish tanks there at the start?
They aint german to my eye

  19. @user-ju7rn1hq1e

    Glory to Kolechia

  20. At that 10 second mark you showed three finnish Panzerkampfwagen IV AUSF. J tanks. Those ones with that finnish white and blue marks came from Germans furing continuation war and were used in Finland till 1960s. I have seen and touched the one in Parolan Panssarimuseo. Somehow scary tank if you really think about it. Greetings from finland

    • It’s nice that you can notice these small details, and yes once you see a real Panzer IV you no longer will disrespect it

  21. @lofiebread_lxfe2190

    Song ?

  22. @user-bo4wx4nj3t

    Soviet Onion what!😂☠

    • It comes in layers
first you have the habitable layer
      then the oil layer
and then if you get far enough: the wasteland

  23. “the truth about VK.30.02” precedes to spit the most repeated confirmed false narrative known to man, which was also spit out by ss members as part of their pivoting to try and get advisory roles in NATO

  24. @takingpigon8478

Fun fact they saw kv1s and t34 on day one. Its actually the germans fault they lost or more specifically hitlers.

  25. Like for spearhead doctrine

  26. @LukeBurdette-jh9hv

world of tanks blitz has both

  27. Meanwhile me just shooting the KV-1s Machine Gun port with my Panzer IV Ausführung H in War Thunder

    • Panzer IV’s were superior to T-34’s and KV-1’s but it was Hitler who wanted bigger tanks

    • @@RemnantovShorts Yeah I just mean that KV-1s are sometimes really hard to destroy with Pz. IVs in War Thunder (because of balancing), especially when they are angled

  28. @TheAnhTrinh-yb8qo

    Soviet Onion ☠️💀????

  29. Im gonna have to see the prototypes papers, please.

  30. @kimleyfields5778

  34. VK means Voll Kette, which means Fully tracked, half track prototypes were called Hk, Halb Kette.

  35. @jurandiwanicki9827

So many fact are do wrong

  36. I recognize that hoi4 background anywhere

  37. The panzer 4 was indeed very effective in the eastern front, able to fend off T-34s, and mostly the kv-1s

  38. literal soviet propaganda

  39. This isn’t true, the panzer fours were the main killer of t-34s and kv-1s. They just made the panther cause hey needed big useless flashy vehicals for some reason

  40. when you showed the map of the germans invading the soviets you shoed pics of finish panzers not german ones lol

  41. @chromagaming6877

But then the is1 and 2 beat the shit out of it

  42. That’s not true at all the germans had no issue taking out T34s nearly half of all t34s taken out of actin in Russia were to panzer 3s with 50mm guns and half of those were taken out by the 37mm early war sessions of the panzer 3
The panzer 4 was more than capable of dealing with the T34

  43. Mmmmm yes Soviet onion

  44. @danielnovotny1428

    Best music you culd choose😂❤

  45. Music choice goes wild.

    GLORY TO ARSTOTZKA.

  46. @lanthisAdventures

    Soviet onion😂

  47. @user-uj4ux9rn3r

A casual T-34/76 and a pz IV F2, G or above were pretty much equals, the only problem was that the germans had mainly 50mm and short 75mm cannons on their medium tanks, after meeting the T-34/76 they realised outmanouvering them takes a lot more effort and time than just shooting them up front, so they just made a longer 75mm cannon and buffed up the pz IV’s armor to 80mm from 50mm

  48. Then German tanks have finished symbol On them

  49. The other prot is in wot

  50. wrong info, even the Tiger I was ordered by the mustache man before the invasion
