The American T26E1-1 or Super Pershing is one of the most interesting tank concepts ever fielded during WWII. It is an M26 that has an upgraded cannon and wears the armor of a German Panther tank. In War Thunder it is pretty amazing, though I wouldn’t say it’s better than the T26E5.

I love the e1 great gun can easily one tap Panthers tigers slightly easier cause of the shell but it’s one of the best heavys at its br right behind the t34

The same battle a Super Pershing destroyed a Jagdpanther at a far distance , then a panzer iv , and lastly a King tiger , The m26 during the Cologne battle destroyed a tiger 1 , some panzer iv’s and a panther , in a different battle an M26 penetrated the frontal armor of a panther tank.

This thing plays like a juggernaut with a barret, but instead of regular ammunition, you have explosive rounds
Its the manliest damn tank ever made. Its so awesome in all regards that it makes me think of warhammer 40k. That being said i dont like it much in game. But i will play it to just look at it!

All of my problems with super pershing come from the fact that its kind of just a worse M26E1. The exposed elevation mechanism and extra like 5 tons of armor (that is pretty much only effective against british apds for whatever reason, thats how the cent mk1 failed to pen) all gone, plus a quicker reload all at the same BR

i absolutely hate that a panther can now pen the jumbos front plate, and i hate that half the german tanks now can lower plate the pershing.
6.7 is not the BR to be playing right now. I keep seeing full up tiers. 7.7 is were it’s at. Nothing but down tiers.
